How and why where
the leaders judged
Never in my memory have we had such confusion in the prophecies given regarding Donald Trump's reelection. Never in the 45 years of knowing the Lord have I seen prophets, leaders, and a large swath of the evangelical community swollen with messianic hopes on a man. The belief that Donald Trump or any man will cleanse America through a dominionist Christian Nationalistic agenda leading to the coming of the Messiah should give us pause. But lessons are to be learned in the wake of all the mispredictions that have left confusion, distrust, and, often, casting our Apostolic and Prophetic ministry aside altogether.
In the November vision and the visions that followed I received two words; leaders were to be judged from a seduction of power and a dominionist spirit. I did not understand what these terms meant at the time as I had no prior knowledge nor any particular interest in "dominionism" and "seduction of power." I believe it played into the spiritual leaders' failures around Donald Trump and the prophets, Apostles, and leaders in the body.
I see the prophets and leaders overlooked three sins.
-
The sin of Omission: Failure to do something when one can and ought to do."
First, the Coronavirus was a national pandemic that called for a federal response from Trump's administration and spiritual counsel, the Apostles and Prophets in his orbit. Because they have been given influence to the highest office of the Land. But politics and party positioning took precedence over mercy and concern for the hundreds of thousands dying. Instead of an outcry of sympathy, humility, and compassion, there was the sin of omission. God put Donald Trump in the office with many influential spiritual leaders who had the President's heart, mind, and ear. Proportionately, great accountability comes with it.
Never in recent history has the White House seen such a gathering place of kingdom-leaders, men and women of God speaking into the President, praying for him, and gathering for prayer and worship. THE LORD SAYS: YOU HAVE LACKED MERCY, SOUND JUDGMENT, AND COMPASSION. Indeed, past Presidents have had their spiritual leaders. Billy Graham was the most significant spiritual leader to Presidents and nations. But these watchmen, Prophets, Apostles, and Political leaders were bent upon their dominion and power to sit upon thrones over many glasses of water. So, they failed the horse they sat upon that it could not complete its journey. The beast that I saw had such promise left inside.
I saw that the beast was given keys to unlock former strongholds and flood historical dry valleys, but then the keys turned rusty with a single rain and fell to the ground. Mercy! Mercy! Mercy! Cries heaven; dominion, dominion, dominion cried these foolish warriors.
The Coronavirus was like a mercy ship that sailed into the harbor of Washington and to the Capitol's front doors, the door of every republican and church and Leader. Yet they showed no compassion, empathy, or concern for the people they represent—the sin of omission. They chose a dominionist posture for their agenda over the people's needs, party over the people, and partisanship instead of mercy. The prophets, the Spiritual advisors around the President, did not counsel him to demonstrate God's heart for the suffering in this COVID-19. They tarnished the image of God and tainted the testimony of a faithful Christian witness through their lack of compassion, silence, and unwillingness to bring aid and relief. The sin of omission!
-
Matthew 25 offers another example regarding the sin of omission. Verses 44-45 note, "Then they will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?' Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.'" Here Jesus indicates that our lack of action can be considered sinful.
-
John 3:17-18 offers another example: "But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and truth." John commanded those who follow Jesus to live in ways that show this love to others.
-
Matthew 5:16 "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Such actions bring glory to God and point others to God who may not yet know Him. Galatians 6:9 adds, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for, in the due season, we will reap if we do not give up."
3. THEY ACTED AS SODOM, "who despite all HER immorality, grew fat and prospered but ignored the needy "Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy." Ezekiel 16:49 ." God said enough is enough. You have mishandled the station to which I have given you. You have abused the seats of power. Men have to lead you downward, with a form of godliness but not power (Love, Mercy, Care). They were more interested in sitting upon thrones upon many glasses of water. They have sinned as Sodom as the dying and sick are at their feet.
"The Lord says, away from me, go and tend the vineyard that I have given you that I will make room for another, men and women that you have not heard of. Tender shoots will now grow up as you did. They will not forget the Master's voice, the poor, and the needy. They will not be overcome by the prosperity I sent, or when their storehouse is filled, they will give to many." But the LORD reigns forever, executing judgment from his throne, and He judges the world with justice and rules the nations with fairness."
4. Sin of Presumption: The prophets and leaders presumed that God would never allow the Democrats to win. That was their false presumption and assumption, and they will learn the lesson again in 2024. Because they presumed incorrectly that no longer could the prophets and leaders be objective. So I will show them again in 2024. As a result, many ministries, prophets, and leaders will be busy dealing with the confusion left in its wake, and indeed, most will blame Satan. Few will take responsibility and take a contrite stand.
The faithful men of God that emerge will be those that take responsibility and are humbled. Prophets can never speak presumptuously as they have during this time, as Deuteronomy 18:22 states. The prophets spoke a populist message to a populist crowd. In their arrogance they forgot to look and hear from ME, says the Lord, before they told; They turned their backs towards me when I was waiting and standing before them; they forgot that I am the tongue and the lips of the prophets. They failed, "He who controls the course of world events removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars" (Daniel 2:21). So they have spoken and acted presumptuously.
5. Seduction of Power: Many evangelical leaders elevated Donald Trump as the man that will bring about a Christian nation by taking dominion over laws and institutions to ultimately bring about an end-time revival that will lead to the return of the Messiah. But that end-time plan is wishful thinking because only Israel is connected to the final return of the Messiah. Still, thrones were set in place, replacing humility with arrogance, power with servanthood, human power with the Holy Spirit's ability to transform people. Rather than the power of the gospel to bring about moral change, they looked down from their self-imposed thrones believing that God chose them as a unique end-time brotherhood like a pseudo crusader army to bring about a Christian nation for the return of the Messiah.
God says: I have not asked you to do this. I have only asked you to transform the old landscapes with my love, power, and healing, to bind up the brokenhearted, rule fairly and judicially, and build up the faint of heart at this time. Could I not send another plague to reveal more of your falling? I may, where will you be leaders of men? No, I say no; enough is enough." They have all been judged and removed because they put in place their thrones by the seduction of a dominionist spirit, thereby making themselves large and God small. This time will be a distant memory and a byword for you. Combined, God removed thrones set up, and He gave power to another to bring compassion and healing that will bind up the wounded and the broken-hearted.
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 'You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, giving everyone in the house light. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:13-16).
