SUPPORTING THE AUTHORITY OF THE BIBLE

In the words of C.S. Lewis, "One's true belief is often tested only when its veracity becomes a matter of life and death." In today's world, many individuals are reluctant to accept any truth beyond their personal experiences and opinions. We tend to avoid debates about personal conduct, ethics, politics, and religion by saying, "Well, whatever works for you; we all have our own truths."

But what if truth isn't merely a matter of perspective? 

What if it isn't confined to a set of rules, whether they are your own or someone else's? What if the ever-shifting consensus of the masses doesn't determine truth but is embodied in a person with whom you can have a personal relationship?

This person's narrative is chronicled in the Bible, and His name is Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah. These are profound questions indeed.

Yeshua offers a unique freedom that stems from embracing what is unquestionably true. Moreover, knowing Yeshua holds the key to eternal life or death. In today's society, people yearn for answers and seek something trustworthy in which they can believe and have confidence. Despite the wealth of information available and our interconnectedness through technology, our innate hunger for truth persists, leaving us with an unfulfilled longing.

The good news is that the Bible has a solution to this quest for truth. It isn't solely a repository of rules; it offers a profound relationship with Truth itself. Just as the central protagonist in an epic tale, Jesus is the linchpin of all life—yours, mine, and the entire world's.

Lord, we pray that our hearts remain fixated on the central narrative of Your Word, specifically the redemptive work accomplished through Jesus Christ. May this focus lead us to a more profound knowledge of You and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
